The arencini's and mozzarella triangles were excellent. It seems like they were out of everything else though. The server made it seem like they were out of half of their draft beers. Kinda odd. We've been to the original place in Chicago. The ambiance was nice and pleasant.

Your traditional deep dish pizza. Cooked well and good flavor. Be prepared to wait for deep dish as it takes longer to cook. Appetizers are great while you wait. A nice location for families or even those looking for dinner and drinks.

I just returned from Chicago on Monday and Sunday night we had Giordanos Deep Dish! It was a sad realization I couldn't bring left overs back to Denver! Then it all changed when I found the ONE in downtown!!! Today is Thursday and I couldn't wait to revisit my hometown favorite! I can't do Marinara sauce so lucky me I found out they have Alfredo!!! So my combo is a Cheese Deep Dish with Pesto Chicken, Mushrooms, fried Garlic and Alfredo subbed out for marinara! Oh my goodness Heaven! We didn't know how it would compare but we decided to order delivery in home dining tonight! May sound funny but we liked the Denver version better tonight!!! The crust was not too thick and the Alfredo was creamier and not so salty! Fantastic! We ordered through a delivery service and had to pay the fees associated with that but wow it was so worth it! Giordanos read my notes and it came out perfect! Our pizza arrived warm and on time while navigating rush hour traffic! Whether you are downtown or in a nearby suburb, this Chicago pastime is so worth ordering while you're in Denver!!! This former Chicagoan is thrilled & proud of my favorite pizza joint being in Denver!!!

We went to the giordano's for some deep dish pizza which we haven't had since Chicago days (2005). I really enjoy their Pizza and was really looking forward to it as it has been a long time. We went with our friends and it was just a five minute walk from hotel. Sat down and made some tough decisions. Our waiter came over gave us menus and took a drink order. He later returned with the drinks and took our food order. We had the classic Deep Dish - Plain and a Caesar Salad. Service was friendly and fast. The Deep Dish Pizzas take about 40 minutes. The waiter returned shortly with a Greek Salad. We told him it was a Caesar salad at which point he told us that it said Greek on his note pad. We explained that regardless of what he wrote down it was supposed to be a Caesar salad. (also had a little chuckle). He then brought over the right item. Now for the pizza. As my wife is eating it, she questioned what is in this pizza... Turns out it was sausage pieces. Not quite sure what our waiter was thinking but that's two for two that he messed up. Luckily, it was a quick recover on the salad and we ate the pizza as we did not want to wait another 40 minutes. Happily, I like sausage and everyone else just picked out the pieces and put thim on my plate. Sausage or not, the pie was delicious. Ambiance is fun and there's always electricity in the air at Giordano's. KUDOs to the team [even if my waiter had a few issues] at Giordano's.

As a long time past resident of Chicago, I grew up on Giordano's deep dish pizza and I was PUMPED to FINALLY get to eat here! Date night was a perfect setting! I was a little disappointed that there was no Chicago beers (Goose Island) but there are fabulous selection of Colorado draft beers. We got traditional buffalo wings and a small Italiano salad to start. Perfect size to share and the salad was something of a dream! Dressing was so good and lots of toppings! Wings were average. Then the deep dish pizza came out- the true test!! We got the Chicago classic (pepperoni, onion and green peppers) OMG the sauce brought me back to childhood!! It was perfect! It was slightly over cooked and needed more marinara but I WILL BE BACK FOR MORE!!!

We decided on getting take out. However, there's a hefty wait time for deep dish. I love Chicago style Pizza. Unos doesn't even come close, lemme tell ya. Service was good. They are very busy for either take out or dine in. I didnt wanna sit inside, I want to take it my pie home, and take my sweet ol time devour it. We waited like almost one hour, but it was worth it. It was my decision to have them double cut, Which I thought would be a good idea but no. I won't next time. The cheese mannnn that cheese pull was insane! I forgot to snap a pic! Pizza was delicious to sum it up. Ill definitely come back here!

The restaurant has a $12.95 lunch special menu. You get a choice of an entrée (deep dish, pizza, thin crust, pizza, Meat-sauce spaghetti, chicken Parmesan sandwich) and a side (french fries or salad). I ordered the chicken Parm sandwich and it was very delicious. The bread was nice and toasted. The cheese was very well melted and very cheesy. I had a side, Caesar salad. The salad was also very good and it comes in a small dish but it's enough as a side dish. I'm really glad I didn't order the garlic Parmesan french fries because it was so under seasoned. it had a lot of garlic but not a lot of Parmesan. My boyfriend ordered the meat sauce, spaghetti, and garlic Parmesan french fries. When I asked him how the meat sauce spaghetti taste, he said, "I've had TV dinners before you can't fool me! It was basically like two TV dinners put together." The fries were nothing special. Very disappointing that it barely had any parm on it. It was mostly garlic.
